Course Description

This course is reserved for Licensed Brokers only! The Post-Licensing Education Program consists of Three 30-Hour Courses:

1. Post 301 - Broker Relationships & Responsibilities

2. Post 302 - Contracts & Closing

3. Post 303 - NC Law, Rules, & Legal Concepts

These Courses can be taken in ANY order. All 90-Hours must be completed within 18 Months of receiving your License.

THE COURSE BEGINS AS SOON AS YOU REGISTER. THE STATE OF NC GIVES STUDENTS 6-MONTHS TO COMPLETE THE COURSE WHICH INCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY PASSING THE END-OF-COURSE EXAM. THERE IS NO SET SCHEDULE FOR THIS COURSE. STUDENTS WILL COMPLETE THE COURSE ON THEIR OWN TIME.

Tuition for each Post-Licensing Education Course is $250. Cost of course does NOT include a Textbook.

Students may purchase a hardcopy Textbook or Digital Copy directly from the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. More information below.

Requirements

In order to successfully complete the class, Students must pass the MANDATORY proctored exit class exam with a 75% or better and not miss more than 3 hours of class.

The MANDATORY proctored exit class exam will be done online on your computer. An exam proctor will be provided to you. Southport Real Estate Academy provides an end of course exam study guide and math tutorial videos for Post 301 and Post 302.

Students will have 6 months from the purchase the course to complete the course which includes successfully passing the end-of-course exam. No extensions allowed. Students will have two attempts to pass the end-of-course exam which must be completed during the 180-day course period.

21 NCAC 58A .1902 requires all 90 hours of post licensing classes to be completed within 18 months of your license date.
